etiwanda was a short project on a remote property near cobar, focussing on using found materials on the property.  the build was mostly the reincarnation of an old shearing shed, along with an array of other found materials to give new life to the existing building.  the outcome was sensitive to the west facing facade and made use of structural steel found on the site to create large eave overhangs to shade the wall. custom doors and windows were built on-site
