newport was an addition to an existing property on a steep site.  the existing 60s split level property had a third full height floor added to accommodate a new master suite and additional living space.  the new addition maximises views over the bay whilst maintaining a level of privacy as the floor is set back significantly from the lower roof.  the steep winding site makes use of extensive hard landscaping and timber stairs to create better access for the young growing family.
